# Weather

Just a basic weather page that I built as an experiment.

### Current Iteration

- Show the current weather for a given area
  - This area is currently only determined by data provided using JSON files
- JSON files are fetched from U.S. National Weather Service API
  - Fetches hourly, daily, and weekly reports multiple times a day
- JSON files are stored for historical purposes

### Future Ideas

- Use historical JSON data to compare how weekly predictions compared against daily observations
- Have a "rewind" feature to find observed weather on a given day
