Weather

Just a basic weather page that I built as an experiment.

Current Iteration

• Show the current weather for a given area
  • This area is currently only determined by data provided using JSON files
• JSON files are fetched from U.S. National Weather Service API
  • Fetches hourly, daily, and weekly reports multiple times a day
• JSON files are stored for historical purposes

Future Ideas

• Use historical JSON data to compare how weekly predictions compared against daily observations
• Have a "rewind" feature to find observed weather on a given day
